Overview

Keep the aircraft, the shop and the budget on track

A modification, completion or refurbishment can involve a repair station, several subcontractors, engineering data and a long list of decisions. Without someone watching the whole job, small problems pile up: scope creep, missing records, rework and surprise costs.

Our aviation project management services put a former FAA professional in that role. We manage aircraft modifications, completions and refurbishment, pre-purchase and audit inspections, and ongoing maintenance oversight. We control cost and risk, keep document control tight and coordinate the subcontractors.

Much of this work happens inside an MRO. We know how a repair station is organized, what its manuals require and how its quality system works. That lets us work with the shop instead of against it, and catch issues while they are still cheap to fix. Our Part 145 repair station guide explains the framework those shops operate under.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

An aviation project manager represents the owner or operator during a modification, completion, refurbishment or heavy maintenance event. The job is to control scope, cost, risk and documents, coordinate the shop and subcontractors and make sure decisions are made on time. The shop performs the work. The project manager makes sure it is the right work.

A pre-purchase inspection protects a large investment. An independent project manager makes sure the inspection covers what it should, reviews the records with an inspector eye and explains the findings in plain terms. That helps you negotiate with real information and avoid inheriting problems you did not see.

We work alongside the shop, not over it. We respect its manuals and quality system and raise issues through agreed channels. Because we know repair station rules well, including the Part 145 certification requirements, we can talk to the shop in its own terms.

Yes. Subcontractor coordination is part of the service. We track who is doing what, check that their work and documents fit the overall plan, and make sure the records come together at the end. Under 145.217, a repair station that contracts out maintenance functions has its own obligations, which we keep in view.

Maintenance oversight means having an experienced representative follow your aircraft through the MRO. We review the work package, attend key inspections, evaluate discrepancies and additional work requests, and keep you informed so approvals do not stall. At the end, we confirm the records and return to service documents are complete.

No. We do not set prices for the shop or guarantee delivery dates. What we provide is active control: early warning of schedule and cost risks, clear options when changes come up and a complete record of what was agreed and why.
